Why a personal-data profile does not guarantee rewards
Separate product interest, eligibility and a concrete offer before counting on discounts or earnings.

A useful personal profile can exist without a rewards marketplace. Offers would depend on available recipients, permitted information, transaction terms and the user’s separate decision. None of those follows automatically from importing an archive or completing a game. Persir’s current beta has no active merchant deals, sales or rewards.
Separate three stages
Product interest means someone would like a feature. Eligibility means particular information may be suitable for a defined use after rights review. An offer means a recipient has proposed an actual benefit with terms. These stages should not be collapsed into one promise.
A Yes answer to a survey does not establish eligibility, and a potentially eligible item does not guarantee a recipient. An internal folder label does not establish a transaction. Keep each stage visible so you can understand what exists today and what would still need to happen before any commercial benefit is available.
Understand why information varies
A conversation archive can contain current preferences, outdated plans, sensitive details and third-party material. Different records have different restrictions and usefulness. More messages do not necessarily create more commercially suitable information.
A narrow, current preference may be easier to review than a large raw archive, but even that does not prove demand from a company. A recipient’s needs can change. Rights, purpose and jurisdiction can limit a proposed use. Avoid treating a profile’s size or detail as a reliable estimate of its monetary value.
Understand why offers vary
A future offer could have geographic limits, expiry dates, spending conditions or product-specific restrictions. It might not match what you intend to buy. A discount can be less valuable than an ordinary public price or can encourage an unnecessary purchase.
Without an actual offer, there is no sound basis to promise savings or earnings. Do not budget around hypothetical rewards or infer a partnership from a product name in a game. Persir’s games use choice contexts for gameplay, not evidence that the named companies sponsor rewards.
Keep permissions independent
A future benefit should not silently broaden existing private-processing permission. Account creation, Terms acceptance, summary confirmation and optional analytics serve different purposes. Commercial disclosure would need its own understandable decision.
You should be able to decline a proposed disclosure even if an item is potentially eligible. Eligibility is not an obligation. Private and noncommercial records are not automatically donated to nonprofits either. The purpose of a profile is to support your control, including the choice to keep it private.
Focus on value that exists now
Persir currently offers private profile organization, supported imports, review controls and games. About Me uses available supported evidence for private experiences, with missing information leaving outputs locked. These features can help you understand preferences without a transaction.
The rewards-interest survey records product interest, not an offer or permission. Treat future rewards as uncertain until a concrete feature and terms are available. If that changes, compare the actual benefit with the exact disclosure requested. A useful private profile should remain worthwhile on its own, rather than depending on an unsupported promise that it will eventually pay you.
