What happens when you answer Persir’s rewards-interest question?
Understand the stored Yes/No survey response, its limits and why it is not permission to sell your data.

Persir’s rewards-interest question measures interest in a possible future product direction. It does not create a reward, register a sale or authorize a company to receive your profile. Read the question as a product survey with a stored response, and keep it separate from any future disclosure decision.
Understand what is stored
The implemented survey stores one Yes or No per account, the question version and a database-generated timestamp. The response is retained across sessions, so the interface can show that you have already answered. It is not merely a temporary button state in the browser.
Ordinary repeat-vote requests cannot change or remove the original answer to answer again. The response remains until account deletion, which removes the live app-owned record. Provider backups and security logs can have separate retention limits described in Privacy. Do not assume that closing the tab removes an account survey response.
Understand what the answer means
Yes means interest in the described direction; No means lack of interest in that survey context. Neither should be treated as a detailed commercial preference or permission for an undefined recipient. Interest can change, but the product’s stored survey mechanism is not a general-purpose permission manager.
A survey can help a founder understand demand without creating an obligation to implement the feature. It also does not prove that you would accept a particular future offer. The fields, recipient, purpose and benefit terms of such an offer would need their own review.
Keep the decisions separate
Account creation provides access under the Terms. Add to my profile confirms saving and processing the summary you submit for your private profile and experiences. Optional analytics uses its own browser choice. Commercial disclosure would need a separate scoped authorization if offered; a rewards-interest response supplies none of those other permissions.
The rewards-interest answer does not change those permissions. Google login does not authorize sale either. A saved profile statement remains owner-only and can still have unresolved rights or provenance, regardless of its presentation in Data. No merchant receives records automatically because you expressed interest; evaluate any future concrete offer as its own decision.
Understand optional measurement
If optional analytics is allowed and no exclusion applies, Persir can measure the survey action with an allowlisted Yes/No category. Profile facts, conversations, names, emails and tokens are excluded from analytics payloads. If analytics is declined, the survey can still function without optional measurement.
Privacy and Settings provide analytics controls, and supported GPC or Do Not Track signals keep collection off. Changing analytics consent does not delete the account’s survey response, because the survey record and optional visit measurement are separate processing purposes.
Evaluate actual rewards only when they exist
Persir’s beta has no active merchant-sharing, deal or reward offering. There is no guaranteed payment, discount, partner or future availability attached to the survey. Do not treat a positive answer as money earned or access to an existing commercial program.
If a concrete offer becomes available, evaluate it independently: what information is requested, who receives it, what benefit is available and what withdrawal changes. You remain free to reject that offer even if you answered Yes to product interest. The current survey captures a limited response to a limited question; it should not become a blanket grant over your data.
