A privacy checklist before sharing a profile image
Review the selected output, names and surrounding context before a private insight becomes a public file.

A private profile output becomes a different kind of record when you download or share it. A screenshot or image can be copied, forwarded and separated from its original context. Before sharing, review the exact output you are sending and the practical audience it may reach.
Identify the selected content
Open the preview and read every visible element. Check the title, body, labels, dates and any included name. Make sure it is the specific output you intended, rather than a full page showing unrelated account information.
In Persir’s About Me sharing flow, selected outputs are prepared without source links and excerpts. That limits the payload, but the selected text can still reveal personal information. A summary of a private goal or life event may be sensitive even when the raw conversation is absent. Review meaning as well as fields.
Decide whether a name is necessary
A name can make an image feel personal, but it can also connect an interpretation to an identifiable person. Persir’s sharing preview allows an optional name for the selected output. Leave it out when the audience does not need it.
Also inspect whether the content identifies you indirectly through a rare combination of events or locations. A public post can be linked to your account even if the image contains no name. Consider the surrounding caption and profile from which you will share it, rather than treating the image as an isolated object.
Check accuracy and context
Generated output can be wrong or overstate its source. Correct the underlying record or choose another output if it does not represent you. A polished layout does not make an interpretation authoritative. Avoid presenting a future scenario as a prediction or a calculated metric as a verified lifetime total.
For a game image, check what the visible board says about your choices. Sharing a playful ranking does not necessarily communicate a purchasing preference or a permanent identity. Add context if a recipient might misunderstand the scope, and avoid claiming that community comparisons reveal more than the game measures.
Understand the destination
A private message, a public social post and a shared workplace folder have different audiences. Review the destination’s access settings before sending. Recipients may create their own copies, and a native share interface does not prevent forwarding.
Downloading a file keeps a local copy that may sync to a cloud folder. Sharing a link can expose whatever the destination serves to anyone with access. Do not attach an archive or source document merely to explain an image if a brief, non-sensitive description is enough.
Keep withdrawal expectations realistic
Deleting a source or account later does not reliably remove copies already downloaded or received elsewhere. If you want a post removed, use the destination’s controls and contact recipients where appropriate. Keep track of sensitive disclosures you intentionally make, without creating an unnecessarily detailed public log.
Persir’s sharing action is separate from analytics consent and any future commercial authorization. A selected image is an explicit output you choose to disclose, not permission for merchants to access your profile. The final check is simple: does this exact file say only what you want this audience to know, with accuracy and context you can stand behind?
